A Moment I Enjoyed Doing Alone

You asked what I enjoyed doing alone, lots of my family members would be able to answer that. But they always do not encourage me to do that as they said the radiation will cause harm to my body and so on and so forth(also known as blah-blah-blah). Anybody guessed it? YES! Its exploring my computer or the internet.

I explore my computer only when it is brand new. I wanted to know what functions they have and what components did they add in. I do this scan for about a week before I familiarize myself to the new com(computer).

Next, some will be wondering what I explore on the net or what is there to explore on the net. Actually, the net is very vast and acts like a library as you can find nearly all your answers in side it. But let me tell or confirm with you something, I don't go to the net to watch something illegal okay(For some psychos who always think sick). I usually visit wikipedia though I heard lots of people said that it is edited. For the sake of being on the safe side, I doubled my effort and reconfirmed the facts on other internet websites.

I also use the net for dictionary use like dictionary.com is a good website that I frequently visit. Its free and has pronunciation for those who do not know how to pronounce the word properly. Like the word rebel, it has two pronunciation as it depends on where you use it.

In the midst of using the net, I always save one tab for a facebook application. For some, I think they knew it already. But for the benefit of the others, the name of the app(application) is MouseHunt(aka mh). Its a game of catching mice but to some this game may be boring. But under great pressure and competition, this game will become addictive. Have no fear, this game only needs you to sound the horn every 15 minutes. Actually, I thought this game was boring but seeing so many of my classmates playing, I decided to join the fun. Who knows, I became Legendary already! Woohoo! Legendary is the 6th rank in the game, followed by Hero. At the end of this post, I will show you some pictures of the game.

Lastly, I want to know why parents disallow their children of using the internet. I thought the internet will increase the exposure of their children. Nvm(never mind), time to end this. Good-bye! :)

Here are the pictures of the facebook application, MOUSEHUNT!!!! Hope you love it!

The picture above are the masters of each power type. From the left to the right, the master of tactical, shadow, hydro, forgotten, arcane, draconic. Thks and I hope more people will play this game(Im advertising MouseHunt aren't I).Lolzz.

A Problem I Encountered And How I Solved It

This afternoon, 26 January 2010, I encountered some problems with the Sec 1 during the RSP(Regional Studies Programme) orientation.

I was in charge of the of the five stones which is categorized under traditional games, below this post I would show you how the five stones and other traditional games look like. All was set and prepared for the Sec 1 to show up at our stations. But there is one thing I do not understand. Where are the clues as they are playing treasure hunt in the midst of visiting the stations???

Just as I knew it, the clues were not fully prepared. And when the Sec 1 came and done their activities, they came pleading for the clues of which we don't have at all!!! Then, they jeer at us for not being organised enough and I couldn't agree more. We only had 1 day to prepare the whole orientation. We were like all dumbstruck, as we didn't know what we should do.

Just as all hopes were lost(a bit sarcastic), I volunteered to find the clue maker, Hudson(I think is him). I ran all around the school and finally found him on the sky bridge. I panted and gasped for air. Slowly, I told him that we need the clues and I took our clues. Again, I had to dashed down to the parade square as thats where the activities were held(Im half-dead by now...). I gave the Sec 1 the clues, of which they had annoyed faces. I knew we were gonna get scolding from the teachers after this.

But fortunately, they forgave us and also said that we can do better next time. They also admitted that they were in wrong for not giving more time to prepare for this orientation. On the whole, I think we did okay for this orientation.

Here are the pictures I said I would show you:
The photo on the right is the gasing and is used like the modern top. For the photo on the left, its called the chapteh. Its shaped like a shuttlecock but you should juggle it using your feet.

The photo on the left is called the sepak takraw where is something like volleyball just that you use your feet and no hands involved. Then, the photo on the right is what I'm in charge, five stones! There are lots of stages of which is hard to explain in words. So simply its just throwing one stone up and picking up another stone with the same hand and try to catch the stone that you just threw. The trick to this is that is best you throw your stone not to high so its faster and more efficient.

An Unusual Thing That Happened

Today, 25 January 2010, I went to the Road Safety Park to do the road marshal duty. At first, I was tense and nervous. But seeing that my seniors are going, I feel quite better as they can like guide me:).

There is one thing I like about today and that is to leave class at 12.30pm. Woohoo! I left for the Road Safety Park at 1.30pm. There, after some discussion of placing, we get into our positions waiting for the arrival of the primary 5 pupils.

Finally, after an eternity, they arrived. But this time is two schools together. Which means there are even more students to "take care" of. Noooo! Nvm( Never mind), we just get ready for them. I really envy those students who can take the car, as I was the cyclist during my primary times.

They started the activities and I got prepared for if anyone disobeys the rules I could book them. But when I wanted to book, my senior stopped and say that we must be kind to them, don't book them. Okay, that's the bad part about bringing in the seniors.-,- However, I found a wonderful moment where the senior was at the toilet and I took the chance to release my anticipation. I spotted a student running across the zebra crossing. Hence, heheh, I booked him and also tell him not to do that again.

In between the course, I have also turned myself into a tour guide by giving directions to where the place is. I think most of them are first-timers here as the Road Safety Park is only allowed to specific guests like students.

Time's nearly up, gtg( got to go), stop here for now. BB(bye-bye)! :)

The Road Safety Community Park
That's the Road Safety Park entrance for those people who don't know. It is located along East Coast Road, didn't know anybody spotted before primary 5. :P

Heres two photos of my NPCC squad. Oops! I forgot to mention that I am in NPCC for those who don't know. There is the Sec 4 squad name(left), BlizzeroidZ, and the Sec 3 squad(right), ArcaineZ. Some people from 2A this year may know some of the Sec 3 in NPCC as some are in the RSP(Regional Study Programme).

Something That Took Place In School

On 19 January 2010, in school something quite amusing happened(this may only apply to some people). I was in school having my most favourite time of the day, recess.

Next, I follow Yi Long to watch some students play table-tennis. It was quite crowded with lots of students in yellow PE attire(as you are suppose to wear when doing any sport).

Luckily, we found a space at the benches and sit. At the corner of my eye, I spotted my NPCC friend. Then I heard somebody shouting,"Stac, here!" Stac, Stac. This name sounds so familiar, where have I heard or seen this.

A boy came towards Yi Long, same body size and height as Yi Long(that's what I think). Suddenly, I remembered something. "Is he Stacius Ling?"I asked Yi long.

"Duh, you don't know?" he replied.

Stacius Ling is a friend I made in Facebook. Yi Long keeps talking about him, so i decided add him and see why Yi Long is "interested in him".

"Ring!" The bell rang. I went to class and asked Calvin, a close friend of Yi Long, if he had met Stacius. He nodded. What! I'm the second person in my class to meet him(I thought I was the first). I should feel good as not many ppl(people) from my class had met him.
Nvm(never mind), at least today I met a new friend(so called).

A Special Moment I Had With My Family

"Strike!" "Double!" "Turkey!"

Ya, thats the joyous feeling that I felt. With 3 times strike in a row, it was quite a wonderful achievement(thats what I think). I'll never forget that spirited event.

This afternoon, in my warm and cosy house, we decided to test out my PS3 as the CNY( Chinese New Year) is around the corner. But since everyone was unoccupied, I declared we all bowl. I got a game especially for this. Its name is "Toro Let's Party". Its played somehow like the WII with motion sensor for this marvellous game( I got to thank the producer for this game, he is freaking smart to come out with such a addicting game). Inside this game are 36 mini games to play with, 1 of them is (obviously) bowling.

I started the game and is "bowl on!". At first, my lousy sister was leading with 5 strikes in a row(Urgh! I so hate her because that proud attitude she had). She added, "Haha! You all are such losers!"(I think she is jeering me.) In the next game, my mother did a freaking unique move. She curved the ball, creating a "S" shape, and got a strike! (I've not got a strike till now for your information. Urgh!) Next my father spin the ball from the left by turning the controller like how he turns the steering wheel and got a strike...(not a strike yet...)

In the last game, my father said as he needs to do something, I accidentally threw my controller(luckily it landed on the sofa.) and i got an amazing strike! The next strike was the curve ball that my mother did previously. Finally, I spin the ball to "strike" and owned everyone. OMG!( Oh my god) Woohoo! "This will show you whos the boss here now!LOSER!" I shouted at my sister with pride.

At last, it was play time over and study time now. No! How I wished I could play a little while longer! I hate studying after such a upbeat occasion. Nvm( Never mind), I'll end this for now. BB!( bye-bye)
Here's a video of the game.

I showed you this video to introduce you to the game. And the mini-game they showed you is "Carp flying up river". I like this game a lot but its a bit tiring as you have to shake the controller up and down so as to move forward. I hope you enjoy this video!
